steve. i cannot comment on your blog titled "forsan et haec olim meminisse juvabit," but with a title like that i should not want to. (the computer won't let me, for some unknown reason.) i must object to your inappropriate use of the letter 'j' - in latin it would have been an 'i', because there were no j's. also, i wonder what you are implying about your two months of marriage with such a title, because vergil wrote that in the aeneid as a line of aeneas's referring to great misfortunes that he hoped they could all look back on sometime with joy, even though they were so miserable at the moment. other than the title, however, i enjoyed that almost as much as the e-mail you sent out to us all, but not quite as much. after all, you can't be expected to write that good of quality every time you write something, so i understand if your blog couldn't quite meet the amazing standard set by that e-mail. it's okay. i'll still read stuff anyway.

rebecca. you are what we call a classicist.
is that a vote for me picking a classical studies emphasis over english? i still haven't decided, you know.
